All rights are jeopardized when people are subject to the threat of violence.<\/li><li>Military action must be a measure of last resort, only to be considered once all other options have been exhausted.<\/li><li>Peace takes hard work and proactive engagement from <strong>all of us<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Even small, seemingly insignificant acts promoting peace can build fertile ground for peaceful relations.<\/li><li>People have both a duty and a right to improve their world, all the way from their immediate environments to the global stage.<\/li><li>Slamming doors and severing the lines of communication is both easy and lazy.
